Health CareRita Rubin offers an interesting perspective in her article “Glimpse the future of primary health care”.  She explains the experience that Massachusetts has experience since passing a law in 2006 providing pretty much universal coverage to it’s 6.6 million residents.

She points out that less internists and family practitioners are accepting new patients and that wait time to see doctors are increasing. This is according to the Massachusetts Medical Society and the non-profit Massachusetts Health Quality Partners.

The article goes on to explain experiences in other states as well.

Bottom-line there will be changes, for some significant, in the health care they receive and how they receive it. I recommend you read this article to “Glimpse the future of primary health care
